lol, dont think so, im pre med/possibly nursing...i cannot miss school, got to be serious, missing one day in college is like missing a weeks worth of high school...had a psychology exam today, and having my Biology and A&P exams on Tuesday...English Short Story Critical Analysis due tomorrow too lol *sigh*

I can't afford to miss school HOWEVER I am tempeted to stay up till 1:00 to look at the event.

But I get up at 7:00 so mybe that's not a good idea.

Every time a preview event came my family seemed to always plan an event I couldn't miss on the same weekend.

So I missed half of the PvP factions event, I only got to go on 2 hours on the PvE factions event and I only got to play 6 hours in the Nightfall PvP event

However my luck has changed and now I actually get to play a full event

.

Now has anyone else missed events (can someone say they missed most of too so I don't fell God hates me)?

It would be funny if there was a last-minute thing your family wanted you to do that prevented you from playing this event.

seems like this is the first time ill miss a beta weekend event... arg.... unless gw client will install all of gw with the -image switch in the next 24hrs ... at its current 20KBps i doubt it will be anytime soon considering gaile said the current image file is 2.7GB plus extraction

... it would be about 37 hours of download and then there is extraction on a laptops hdd

i guess i got the beat down from fate

edit: 80,000 files remaining... and then there is extraction... GG

I don't work Friday but Saturday-Sunday I have drill, yea not calling in sick to the military to play a video game as much as I'd love to.

(Guild Wars Prophecies Beta testing/previews were partially part of why I failed college lol)

My first preview ever, I didn't do the Factions ones and since I don't really PvP I skipped the Nightfall PvP preview.

I never have classes on Friday, but I have to work from 8 a.m - 12 p.m anyway. I'm gonna have to play as much as I can tonight because Saturday and Sunday I have to help somone build a deck. (maybe just Saturday if we get it done fast enough)

Well, I'm at school right now, and I can't get home until 6:00 p.m. or so... I tried to play for a few minutes this morning to see what it was like or at least load some data, but it didn't work because of the event delay; still, I think I'm catching a lucky break this weekend... my school doesn't give homework during Rosh Hashanah.
